How it works

What happens after you press start

Most pages like this one list features. This one lists the sequence — what loads, when your browser interrupts you, what the person on the other side actually sees, and where the free part stops. If something below is not true of your session, that is a bug and we want to hear it.

  1. Before

    You are already signed in, and you did nothing

    Opening this page is enough. A guest session is created for you in the background — no form, no email, no password, no confirmation link. That is not a marketing way of saying "registration is quick". There is no registration.

  2. 0s

    You press Start

    Nothing is asked of you first. No interest tags to pick, no gender to choose, no country to filter. The match is random by design — that is the whole product, not a limitation we are apologising for.

  3. ~1s

    Your browser asks for the camera — once

    This prompt comes from the browser, not from us, and it appears once per site per browser. If you choose Block by accident, we cannot re-open it; you have to clear it in the browser's own site settings. Voice mode and text mode never trigger it at all.

  4. ~2s

    You are put in front of someone

    One person, one on one. Not a room, not a lobby, not an audience. They see what your camera sees and hear what your microphone hears, and that is the entire surface — no profile history, no follower count, nothing you had to fill in.

  5. Any time

    You skip, and it costs you nothing

    One tap moves you to the next person. You do not have to say goodbye, explain yourself, or wait for the other side to agree. From their side the call simply ends — they are not told why, and they cannot follow you.

  6. If needed

    Report and block live on their profile page

    Not on the call screen. If you have been hunting for a report button during a call, that is why you could not find it — open the person's profile page and both controls are there. Block means they will not be matched to you again.

  7. Later

    Free runs out before the conversation does

    Starting is free and staying a while is free. Longer calls draw on coins. We would rather write that here than let you find it mid-sentence.

Three ways to start, one of which uses no camera

Video

Camera on both sides. The camera button covers the picture — it does not stop your camera capturing.

Voice

No camera is switched on at all. Useful if you want the conversation without the lighting.

Typing only. Nothing is captured. This is the one to start with if you are unsure.
